Aikyashree Scholarship is a flagship education scheme launched by the West Bengal Government to support minority students (Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain, and Parsee) from Class 1 to higher education. Managed by the West Bengal Minority Development and Finance Corporation (WBMDFC), this scheme provides financial aid to deserving students to continue their education without financial barriers.

📝 Step-by-Step Application Process for Aikyashree Scholarship (Fresh Applicants)

Eligibility

You must be a resident of West Bengal.
You must belong to a minority community (Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, Jain, Parsee).
You must have scored at least 50% marks in your last exam (60% is good).
Your family income should be:

Less than ₹2 lakh/year for Pre-Matric
Less than ₹2.5 lakh/year for Post-Matric & Merit-cum-Means

5. You must be studying in a recognized school or college in West Bengal.

Online Application:-

Step 1: Visit the Official Portal

Navigate to the official Aikyashree Scholarship portal: https://wbmdfcscholarship.in

Step 2: New Registration

Click on “Student’s Area” and select “Fresh Registration”.
Choose the district where your educational institution is located.

Step 3: Fill in Registration Details

Enter the following information:
- Full Name
- Guardian’s Name
- Date of Birth
- Mobile Number
- Email ID
- Bank Account Number
- Create and confirm a password
Click on “Submit and Proceed”.

Step 4: Scheme Eligibility

Provide details about your:
- Current Institution
- Course or Class Name
- Last Exam Passed
- Board Name
- Year of Passing
- Percentage of Marks Obtained
- Annual Family Income
Review the information and click on “Submit & Proceed”.

Step 5: Completion of Registration

A provisional User ID will be generated.
You will receive your password via the registered email ID.

Step 6: Student Login

Log in using your User ID and Password.
Enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number.
Update your password for security purposes.

Step 7: Fill in Application Details

Complete the application by providing:
- Basic Information
- Academic Information
- Bank Account Information
Upload the required documents (see below).
Review all entries carefully.

Step 8: Final Submission

After verifying all details, click on “Submit and Lock Application”.
Confirm the submission.
Print the application form for future reference.

যোগ্যতা

আপনাকে অবশ্যই পশ্চিমবঙ্গের বাসিন্দা হতে হবে।
আপনাকে অবশ্যই সংখ্যালঘু সম্প্রদায়ের (মুসলিম, খ্রিস্টান, শিখ, বৌদ্ধ, জৈন, পার্সি) হতে হবে।
আপনার শেষ পরীক্ষায় কমপক্ষে ৫০% নম্বর থাকতে হবে (৬০% ভালো)।
আপনার পারিবারিক আয় হওয়া উচিত:

5. আপনাকে অবশ্যই পশ্চিমবঙ্গের একটি স্বীকৃত স্কুল বা কলেজে পড়াশোনা করতে হবে।

ধাপ ২: নতুন নিবন্ধন

“ছাত্র এলাকা” এ ক্লিক করুন এবং “নতুন নিবন্ধন ২০২৪-২৫” নির্বাচন করুন।
আপনার শিক্ষা প্রতিষ্ঠানটি যে জেলায় অবস্থিত তা নির্বাচন করুন।

ধাপ ৩: নিবন্ধনের বিবরণ পূরণ করুন

নিম্নলিখিত তথ্য লিখুন:
- পুরো নাম
- অভিভাবকের নাম
- জন্ম তারিখ
- মোবাইল নম্বর
- ইমেল আইডি
- ব্যাংক অ্যাকাউন্ট নম্বর
- একটি পাসওয়ার্ড তৈরি করুন এবং নিশ্চিত করুন

ধাপ ৬: শিক্ষার্থী লগইন

আপনার ব্যবহারকারী আইডি এবং পাসওয়ার্ড ব্যবহার করে লগ ইন করুন।
আপনার নিবন্ধিত মোবাইল নম্বরে প্রেরিত OTP প্রবেশ করান।
নিরাপত্তার উদ্দেশ্যে আপনার পাসওয়ার্ড আপডেট করুন।

জমা নিশ্চিত করুন।

🔄 Aikyashree Scholarship Renewal Process

If you have previously received the Aikyashree Scholarship, follow these steps to renew your application:

Visit the official portal: https://wbmdfcscholarship.in
Click on “Student’s Area” and select “Renewal Application 2024–25”.
Choose your district.
Log in using your Application ID, Date of Birth, and Password.
Enter the OTP sent to your registered mobile number.
Update any necessary information, including bank details if changed.
Upload the required documents.
Review and submit the application.
Print the confirmation page for your records.
