নবান্ন স্কলারশিপ
The Nabanna Scholarship is a financial aid initiative by the West Bengal Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) aimed at supporting meritorious students from economically disadvantaged backgrounds. It assists students pursuing studies from Class 10 through postgraduate levels across various disciplines, including general and professional courses.
নবান্ন বৃত্তি হল পশ্চিমবঙ্গ মুখ্যমন্ত্রীর ত্রাণ তহবিল (CMRF) কর্তৃক পরিচালিত একটি আর্থিক সহায়তা উদ্যোগ, যার লক্ষ্য অর্থনৈতিকভাবে সুবিধাবঞ্চিত পটভূমির মেধাবী শিক্ষার্থীদের সহায়তা করা। এটি দশম শ্রেণী থেকে স্নাতকোত্তর স্তর পর্যন্ত সাধারণ এবং পেশাদার কোর্স সহ বিভিন্ন বিষয়ে পড়াশোনা করতে আগ্রহী শিক্ষার্থীদের সহায়তা করে।
📝 Application for Nabanno Scholarship process
Eligibility
To qualify for the Nabanna Scholarship, applicants must:
Residency: Be permanent residents of West Bengal.
Academic Performance:
For Higher Secondary (Class 12) students: Secure between 50% and 60% in the Madhyamik (Class 10) examination.
For Undergraduate (UG) students: Achieve between 50% and 60% in the Higher Secondary (Class 12) examination.
For Postgraduate (PG) students: Obtain between 50% and 53% in their UG degree.
Income Limit: Have an annual family income not exceeding ₹1,20,000.
Enrollment: Be enrolled in a recognized institution within West Bengal.
Other Scholarships: Not be recipients of any other government scholarships or stipends for the same course during the current academic year.
💰 Nabanna Scholarship Amount
Eligible students receive a one-time grant of ₹10,000 per year.
For professional undergraduate courses like engineering, medicine, or pharmacy, the amount may be up to ₹12,000.
📝 Required Documents
Applicants need to submit:
Recent passport-sized photograph.
Student ID proof.
Copy of current course fee receipt.
Mark sheets of all previously passed examinations.
Family income certificate.
Letter of recommendation from an MP/MLA addressed to the West Bengal Chief Minister.
Personal bank account details.
Self-declaration detailing current course of study, year/semester, and any other scholarships received, signed by the head of the institution.

যোগ্যতা
নবান্ন বৃত্তির জন্য যোগ্যতা অর্জনের জন্য, আবেদনকারীদের অবশ্যই:
- আবাসস্থল: পশ্চিমবঙ্গের স্থায়ী বাসিন্দা হতে হবে।
- শিক্ষাগত পারফরম্যান্স:
- উচ্চমাধ্যমিক (দ্বাদশ শ্রেণি) শিক্ষার্থীদের জন্য: মাধ্যমিক (দ্বাদশ শ্রেণি) পরীক্ষায় ৫০% থেকে ৬০% নম্বর পেতে হবে।
- স্নাতকোত্তর (পাবলিক) শিক্ষার্থীদের জন্য: উচ্চমাধ্যমিক (দ্বাদশ শ্রেণি) পরীক্ষায় ৫০% থেকে ৬০% নম্বর পেতে হবে।
- স্নাতকোত্তর (পাবলিক) শিক্ষার্থীদের জন্য: তাদের স্নাতক ডিগ্রিতে ৫০% থেকে ৫৩% নম্বর পেতে হবে।
- আয়ের সীমা: বার্ষিক পারিবারিক আয় ₹১,২০,০০০ এর বেশি না হতে হবে।
- ভর্তির যোগ্যতা: পশ্চিমবঙ্গের কোনও স্বীকৃত প্রতিষ্ঠানে ভর্তি হতে হবে।
- অন্যান্য বৃত্তি: চলতি শিক্ষাবর্ষে একই কোর্সের জন্য অন্য কোনও সরকারি বৃত্তি বা উপবৃত্তির প্রাপক হবেন না।
💰 স্কলারশিপ পরিমাণ
- যোগ্য শিক্ষার্থীরা প্রতি বছর এককালীন ₹১০,০০০ অনুদান পাবে।
- ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং, মেডিসিন বা ফার্মেসির মতো পেশাদার স্নাতক কোর্সের জন্য, এই পরিমাণ সর্বোচ্চ ₹১২,০০০ পর্যন্ত হতে পারে।
📝 প্রয়োজনীয় কাগজপত্র
আবেদনকারীদের জমা দিতে হবে:
- সাম্প্রতিক পাসপোর্ট আকারের ছবি।
- ছাত্র পরিচয়পত্রের প্রমাণপত্র।

- বাসস্থান: পশ্চিমবঙ্গের স্থায়ী বাসিন্দা।
শিক্ষাগত পারফরম্যান্স:
- উচ্চমাধ্যমিক (একাদশ শ্রেণী): মাধ্যমিক (দশম শ্রেণী) পরীক্ষায় ৫০% থেকে ৬০% এর কম নম্বর।
- স্নাতক কোর্সের জন্য: উচ্চমাধ্যমিক (দ্বাদশ শ্রেণী) পরীক্ষায় ৫০% থেকে ৬০% এর কম নম্বর।

অন্যান্য শর্তাবলী:

- গত বছর একই কোর্স বা অধ্যয়নের পর্যায়ে অন্য কোনও সরকারি (কেন্দ্রীয়/রাজ্য) বৃত্তি বা উপবৃত্তি গ্রহণ করা উচিত নয়।
কিভাবে আবেদন করবেন
নবান্ন বৃত্তির আবেদন প্রক্রিয়া মুখ্যমন্ত্রীর ত্রাণ তহবিল পোর্টালের মাধ্যমে অনলাইনে পরিচালিত হয়। এই পদক্ষেপগুলি অনুসরণ করুন:

- Click on “Apply for Financial Assistance for Education.”
- Enter your mobile number, set a password, and complete the captcha to register.
3. লগইন করুন:
- Use your registered mobile number and password to log in.
4. আবেদনপত্র পূরণ করুন:
- ব্যক্তিগত বিবরণ প্রদান করুন: নাম, পিতার নাম, জন্ম তারিখ, জেলা, পিন কোড, পারিবারিক আয়, ইমেল ঠিকানা ইত্যাদি।
- শিক্ষাগত বিবরণ লিখুন: বোর্ড/বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের নাম, বর্তমান কোর্স, প্রাপ্ত নম্বর ইত্যাদি।
- ব্যাঙ্কের বিবরণ প্রদান করুন: ব্যাঙ্কের নাম, অ্যাকাউন্ট নম্বর, IFSC কোড।
5.প্রয়োজনীয় কাগজপত্র আপলোড করুন:
- চলতি শিক্ষাবর্ষের ভর্তির রশিদ।
- Recommendation/income certificate from local MLA/MP.
- Self-declaration regarding current course of study and receipt of any scholarship, countersigned by the head of the institution.
- দশম শ্রেণীর প্রবেশপত্র এবং নম্বরপত্র।
- ছবি এবং পরিচয়পত্রের প্রমাণ।
- ব্যাংক পাসবইয়ের প্রথম পৃষ্ঠা।
6.আবেদন জমা দিন:
- সমস্ত তথ্য এবং নথিপত্র পর্যালোচনা করুন।
- আবেদন জমা দিন।
- ভবিষ্যতের চিঠিপত্রের জন্য রেফারেন্স আইডি লিখে রাখুন।
নবান্ন স্কলারশিপে টাকা পেতে কত সময় লাগে?
নবান্ন স্কলারশিপ বিতরণ প্রক্রিয়া সাধারণত আপনার আবেদন জমা দেওয়ার পর থেকে প্রায় ৩ থেকে ৪ মাস সময় নেয়। এই সময়কাল মুখ্যমন্ত্রীর ত্রাণ তহবিল (CMRF) সেল দ্বারা পরিচালিত পুঙ্খানুপুঙ্খ মূল্যায়ন এবং যাচাইকরণ প্রক্রিয়ার জন্য দায়ী। কিছু ক্ষেত্রে, আবেদনগুলি অতিরিক্ত যাচাই-বাছাইয়ের জন্য সংশ্লিষ্ট জেলা ম্যাজিস্ট্রেট বা কলকাতার পুলিশ কমিশনারের কাছে পাঠানো যেতে পারে।
আপনার আবেদন অনুমোদিত হয়ে গেলে, স্কলারশিপ পরিমাণ – প্রতি বছর সর্বোচ্চ ₹১০,০০০ পর্যন্ত – ডাইরেক্ট ব্যাংক ট্রান্সফার (DBT) এর মাধ্যমে সরাসরি আপনার ব্যাংক অ্যাকাউন্টে বিতরণ করা হবে।
Renewal Process in Nabanna scholarship?
- Visit the Official Portal:
- Go to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund website.
2.Login to Your Account:
Click on “Apply for Financial Assistance for Education”.
Enter your registered mobile number, password, and captcha to log in.
3.Fill in the Application Form:
- Update your personal details, academic information, and bank details as required.
4.Upload Required Documents:
Mark sheet of the previous academic year.
Admission receipt for the current academic year.
Income certificate issued by a gazetted officer, BDO (Block Development Officer), or equivalent authority.
Recommendation letter from your local MLA.
Self-declaration stating that you are not receiving any other scholarship, countersigned by the head of your institution.
Bank passbook’s first page showing account details.
5.Submit the Application:
Review all entered information and uploaded documents.
