On 22 February 2024, the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) issued a notification announcing the launch of a new website, ssc.gov.in. All candidates will now have to complete a new One Time Registration (OTR) on this new portal to apply for SSC recruitment in future.

• Step 1: Visit the official SSC website at ssc.gov.in.
  Alternatively, you can use the direct link provided in the Useful Important Links section on this page.
• Step 2: Click on the New Registration tab on the homepage.
• Step 3: Enter your basic information, including your Name, Father’s Name, Mother’s Name, Mobile Number, Email ID, and Class 10 (High School) Roll Number.
• Step 4: Verify all your One Time Registration (OTR) profile details carefully, then submit your registration.
• Step 5: An OTP will be sent to your registered email and mobile number. Enter the OTP to verify your contact details.
• Step 6: After completing Part I of the registration, your OTR Registration Number will be displayed on the screen.
• Step 7: Next, change the default password sent to your email. Then, log in using your registration number and the new password.
• Step 9: Candidates must change the default password to a custom password. The new password should be at least 8 characters long and include uppercase letters, lowercase letters, numbers, and special characters. Additionally, select two security questions to enable password recovery in case you forget your password.
• Step 10: After changing the password, log in again. Then, fill in details about your nationality, category, visible identification mark, and permanent and present address.
• Step 11: Carefully review all the entered information by clicking the Preview button. If you find any errors, make corrections. Once everything is accurate, click the Declare button and submit the form.
• Step 12: Your Staff Selection Commission OTR registration is now complete. You can access your dashboard to apply for new recruitments, download admit cards, and check results by logging in anytime.
