Who Can Apply?

Students who meet the following criteria are eligible:

  • Must have passed Class 12 (HS) or equivalent (WBCHSE, CBSE, ISC, or other recognised boards).

  • Students seeking admission to Honours courses must have:

    • Minimum 50% marks in aggregate

    • At least 45% in the subject they wish to study

  • For General courses (BA, B.Sc, B.Com), passing marks in HS is sufficient.

  • No entrance exams are required (except for professional/technical courses like engineering, medical, law, etc.)

How to Apply through WBCAP

The admission process is entirely online, and it allows students to apply to multiple colleges and courses through a single platform. Here are the steps:
